Deep-tech engineering

Deep systems. Developer tools. Real-time platforms.

We engineer large-scale distributed software, the developer tooling underneath it, and the communication platforms people rely on.

The stack we build production systems on.

What we build

Distributed systems, developer tooling and real-time communication infrastructure — the parts that are hard to get right.

Web platforms

High-concurrency systems that scale horizontally. Built for heavy traffic before it arrives, so growth does not mean a rewrite.

Architecture

Mobile applications

Cross-platform apps that perform like native ones. One codebase, without the usual compromises.

Applications

Desktop software

Applications that run locally and handle heavy processing. Built to stay stable when the work cannot fail.

Systems

Cloud and DevOps

Multi-cloud infrastructure and automated pipelines. Deployments that do not need a maintenance window.

Infrastructure

Security engineering

Zero-trust boundaries and hardened encryption, designed in from the first commit rather than added later.

Protocols

Applied AI

Models in production — inference pipelines, evaluation, and the plumbing that keeps them predictable.

The Problem

CSS-in-JS ships a styling engine to every visitor, and pays for it again on every render.

The Approach

Every tl.create call is statically transformed at build time into a class-string literal.

The Result

Bundles ship compiled atomic CSS — no wrapper, no Babel plugin, no engine on the page — with strict-by-default WCAG validation and automatic dark mode, for every modern framework.

Drop it in

Compiled at build time, not in the browser.

The same block of styles, as you write it, as it compiles, and as the build checks it.

How we build

The engineering positions behind everything above.

Incremental delivery

Working software in weeks rather than quarters. We ship the smallest useful thing first and build on it.

Real-time systems

Event-driven and socket-based infrastructure for software where latency is part of the product, not a metric to apologise for.

Security from the first commit

Zero-trust boundaries and hardened encryption, designed into the architecture instead of wrapped around it.

Engineering partnership

We work inside your team rather than alongside it. Architecture decisions get made together and written down.

Built for load

Systems designed for the million-user case and load-tested long before they meet it.

Accessible by default

Contrast and semantics are checked during the build. Failures break CI instead of reaching production.

About Spark Golden Tech

Engineers who ship their own tools.

Spark Golden Tech is a technology company building large-scale systems, and the author of traceless-style — a zero-runtime atomic CSS library built entirely in-house.

We build the systems other teams depend on — accessible by default, and engineered to stay fast as they grow.

About the company
traceless-styleStable release
MIT licensed
traceless-style is open source and free to use commercially, with no tiers behind it.
Zero runtime
Styles are compiled at build time. No styling engine is shipped to the browser.
Enforced in CI
Contrast failures break the build rather than reaching production unnoticed.
Principles

The rules we hold our own systems to.

Tools we want to use

traceless-style exists because we needed it and nothing else did the job. Most of what we build starts the same way.

Open by default

Our tooling is public and our decisions are written down. You can read the source before you decide to trust it.

Security in layers

Protection at every level of the stack rather than a perimeter drawn around the outside of it.

Accessibility is not a pass

It is checked automatically, every build, against WCAG. Nothing ships that would fail an audit later.
