traceless-style
Zero-runtime atomic CSS, with contrast checked by the compiler.
Styles are written in TypeScript and compiled at build time into plain atomic CSS. No styling engine is shipped to the browser, and a contrast pair that fails WCAG fails the build rather than reaching production. This site is built with it.

What it does
Four parts, each doing one job.
- Compiler
- Every tl.create call is statically transformed at build time into a class-string literal. What ships is markup and the rules that markup uses.
- CLI
- Compile, watch and inspect from the terminal, so the same checks run locally and in the pipeline without a second configuration.
- Accessibility
- Contrast is evaluated against WCAG for every token pair the build produces. A failure is a build error, not a warning nobody reads.
- Diagnostics
- Unused rules, duplicate declarations and shadowed tokens are reported with the source position that produced them.
